JENNY “JETA” TANG
b. 1991, San Francisco, California
Lives and works in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi

  • Jeta is an interdisciplinary artist, writer, and engineer based in Hawaiʻi whose work moves between sculpture, installation, creative technology, and performance.

Using her own body as both medium and messenger, she explores the female form as a site for storytelling and satire. Her practice challenges the oversexualization of women’s bodies by reclaiming nudity as a tool for narrative and critique rather than a commodity shaped by patriarchal ideals. Through humor and vulnerability, she uses the female body as a vessel of feminist resistance.
